3-Star SG/SF Joins 2007 Class

Stone Mountain (GA) shooting guard/small forward Terrell Bell made his first ever visit to Blacksburg last Wednesday and, just two days later, revealed that he had made a verbal commitment to head coach Seth Greenberg. Bell, rated a 3-star prospect by Scout.com and Rivals.com, is another quality addition for Tech’s 2007 men’s basketball recruiting class.

“It was my favorite for most of the summer,” Bell said of Virginia Tech. “Georgia and Cincinnati were my back-up options. I had offers from both. I already had visited Georgia. I went up to Virginia Tech last Wednesday and loved it, so I decided to commit.”

Bell went into more detail about his visit to Virginia Tech.

“I went with my mom and the strength and conditioning coach from my high school,” Bell said. “When we got there, we met up with Coach [Stacey] Palmore. Then we talked with Coach Greenberg. I also met the President of the University and the Athletic Director. For the rest of the time, they showed us around. Virginia Tech has a real nice campus. Then, I ate lunch with a few of the players. They seemed cool. I met Nigel Munson and he was cool. I had met Coleman Collins back in July. He’s also from Georgia.”
