Jackson Sets First Official Visit

Varina DE/LB prospect Jamar Jackson saw his stock rise throughout the May evaluation period and into the summer. The 6-4, 220-pound received scholarship offers from schools including Boston College, Louisville, N.C. State and Virginia Tech, among others. Now, he has set his first official visit.

“He has set an official visit to Boston College. I believe it’s for the Clemson game,” said Varina offensive coordinator Blanda Wolfe. The visit will take place on the weekend of September 9th.

Boston College is one of three programs seemingly at the top of Jackson’s list right now.

“I think Boston College, N.C. State and Virginia Tech are really his top three,” Wolfe said. “I think all three schools are about even right now. He talks about them a lot. I think Louisville is also in the running and he also said something about Clemson yesterday.”
