Virginia Tech has expressed heavy interest in Chris Drager , a 6-4, 235-pound tight end prospect out of Thomas Jefferson High School in Jefferson City, Pennsylvania. Drager, who holds offers from Stanford and West Virginia, is very interested in the Hokies as well.
βI liked it there actually,β Drager said of Virginia Tech, where he visited for the spring game last month. βIt seemed really nice. The campus was really nice. It reminded me a lot of Penn State in that it seemed like the main school throughout Virginia.β
Bryan Stinespring is the primary recruiter for Tech. At this point, the Hokies have not offered but are certainly evaluating the talented prospect thoroughly.
βThey said they lost a few tight ends,β Drager said. He spoke with the VT coaches last week. βThey said they are still interested but they want to wait a while.β
