4-star Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA) defensive end Jermaine Cunningham was impressed with the atmosphere of Virginia Tech’s game versus Miami, the team’s chemistry and the attitude of the players after Saturday night.

“Going into the game, I had no expectations of what I would see,” said Cunningham, who along with 5-star teammate Marcus Ball, made an official visit to Virginia Tech this past weekend. “I knew it would be a great game. A hyped crowd was what I saw and more. I spent time with the coaching stafff and talked to the players. I liked the new facilities they have planned. I got along real good with the coaches.”

Cunningham talked about the relationship among the Virginia Tech players.

“It’s all like a family,” Cunningham said. “After the loss, the team was mad, but they were talking about working harder and getting to a BCS game.”
