Hall Breaks Record

Gretna star quarterback Vic Hall made history last night, breaking the Virginia state record for total offensive yards in a high school career. Former Hampton High School quarterback Ronald Curry held the previous mark at 11,519 yards.

Hall, who was the 1st player to commit to UVa in the 2005 recruiting class, is ranked a 4-star prospect and the top quarterback in the state of Virginia. He led Gretna to a state championship last season and has led the team to an undefeated record so far in 2004.

An outstanding athlete, the 5-10, 180-pound Hall excels at rushing as well as passing.
