Harrisburg (PA) star Mikell Simpson has a much clearer picture now of which schools he will make official visits to. The 6-1, 185-pound tailback recruit knows 4 schools he will officially visit. In addition to the visit he has set to UCLA for December 4th, he has tentative dates set with 2 schools.

“I don’t have any other visits [besides UCLA] officially set,” Simpson said. “I am in the process of doing that now. I’m pretty sure I’m going to Virginia for the Miami game on November 13th. I’ll be going to Alabama for the Auburn game [on November 20th]. After the season I’ll go to Nebraska. The 5th one is most likely Michigan State or Ohio State. Ohio State hasn’t offered, which is why I’m holding them off right now.

“I’m set on those schools right now. Minnesota is the only other school I’m still really considering.”

There are currently no favorites among the 7 schools remaining under consideration. These programs have climbed to the top of Simpson’s list because “I felt comfortable talking to these coaches more than the others,” Simpson said. “These are the coaches that have called every week too.”
