St. Peter’s Prep’s (Jersey City, NJ) 6-1, 262-pound tailback Rashawn Jackson has drawn major Division I-A interest. According to St. Peter’s Head Coach Rich Hansen, Jackson has received over 30 official scholarship offers.

Among his long list of schools, there are 5 or 6 that currently stand out above the rest. A few more behind those schools have caught Jackson’s eye as well.

“My top 5 that I want to investigate further are Rutgers, UVa, Tennessee, Ohio State and Miami,” Jackson said. “I also like Florida. LSU and Texas have been talking to me too. I haven’t been able to get back in touch with either of those two. FSU was my number 1 favorite growing up, but things haven’t really worked out there. I’m not saying I’d go there if they did offer. ”

Wanting to stay open in the recruiting process, Jackson does not list a favorite right now.
