Harris Cuts List

The number one prospect in the state of Virginia has narrowed his list of schools to twelve. Victor “Macho” Harris, a 6-0, 180 pound tailback/cornerback prospect out of Highland Springs High School, has received over 40 Division I-A scholarship offers.

“His list of twelve schools, in alphabetical order, are Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Southern California, Virginia, and Virginia Tech,” Highland Springs Head Coach Scott Burton said.

Several factors helped Harris determine which schools would make the initial cut. First and foremost, a connection with the coaching staff had to be there.

“He always said he likes the coach/player bond,” Burton said. “There has been some sort of connection made between Victor and each of these coaching staffs. Obviously the list also contains a who’s who of college football. Victor wants to play for a winner. He wants to have the chance to compete for a championship, and he feels like he can do that at these schools.”
