Gar-Field High School (Woodbridge, VA) defensive end/outside linebacker prospect Clint Sintim confirmed tonight that he will not make his official visit to Virginia Tech this weekend.

“I spoke to my doctor today, and he didn’t think my leg is strong enough right now to do a lot of moving around,” Sintim said. “He told me I should let it rest for right now, so I’m not going to make my visit to Tech this weekend. I think I’ll be able to make a decision even without the official visit.”

Sintim is not sure when he will have a decision made. He indicated last night that he would likely not have a press conference to announce his choice.

“I don’t have a specific date right now,” Sintim said. “I’m not sure when I’ll have it. The plan is to sit down with my father this weekend and try to make the decision.”
