OT/DT Marque Hall and his Forest Hills teammates made a good run through the Class 2-AA playoffs, winning rounds one and two and advancing to the quarterfinals. Unfortunately, their bid for a state championship fell short with a 51-28 loss to Hibriten last Friday night.

“We did pretty good,” Hall said of his team’s playoff run. “The game was good. We went back and forth with them in the first half, but had some fumbles and interceptions in the second half. Our mistakes were the difference in the game.”

Hall still has one game remaining in his high school career, however, as he will play in the North Carolina/South Carolina Shrine Bowl Classic on December 20th. Recruiting will be a focus in the coming weeks, as he schedules official visits.

“I’m going to do some research first,” Hall said of how he will determine where he will officially visit. “I want to research each school, to see the majors and the graduation rates.”
