Virginia Tech’s men’s basketball program kept the momentum rolling this past weekend, securing a verbal commitment from 6-7 small forward Justin Holt.
Holt, who attends Tacoma Community College in Tacoma, Washington, plans to sit out this season in order to have three years of eligibility remaining at Virginia Tech. He chose the Hokies over Tennessee, Kansas, and Ohio State. Virginia Tech (10/11/03) and Tennessee (09/27/03) were the only schools to receive official visits.
Last week Seth Greenberg picked up a verbal commitment from Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA) point guard Marquie Cooke, who is one of the top 100 players in the nation.
