Davis Finishes Season Strong

Dan Davis saved his best play for the final four games of the regular season, giving him and the rest of the Plainfield (NJ) squad momentum heading into the first round of the North 2, Group IV playoffs this Saturday.

“The past four games have probably been my best of the year,” said Davis, who’s team is 4-0 over that time spann. Plainfield is 6-2 on the year. “I’ve had about nine sacks and 45 tackles in the last four games.”

The 6-3, 240 pounds Davis has played both defensive end and defensive tackle throughout the year, utilizing his strength and versatility. Very strong, he can squat 595 pounds, bench 330 pounds, and clean 225 pounds.

On offense, Davis has the athleticism to play tailback – a position he has played several times this season.
