In just over two weeks, Fern Creek (Louisville, KY) wide receiver Mario Urrutia will make his first official visit. He heads to Virginia for the weekend of November 29th, and follows that up with official visits to Louisville on December 6th and Kentucky on December 13th.

“I’m definitely going to Virginia on November 28th, 29th, and 30th,” said Urrutia. “I’ve never been to Virginia before. I’m excited. The Virginia/Virginia Tech game is going to be great.”

During March of 2003, Urrutia committed to Kentucky. He has decided since then to re-open the recruiting process and take some official visits. Right now, he says he is open among Kentucky, Louisville, Virginia, Nebraska, and West Virginia.

He has scholarship offers from all of those programs.
