Hermitage linebacker Andrew Bowman , who is one of the top prospects in the state of Virginia, was on hand to see the Virginia Tech/Miami game last weekend. It was his first time ever seeing a Virginia Tech football game.
“It was crazy,” said Bowman of the game. “I didn’t believe it was going to be that loud at the stadium, when I first went there. But it really was, and I was surprised [by that]. I think the fans really stood out to me.”
Bowman was able to speak with the coaches and witness Virginia Tech’s pre-game walk ritual.
“I saw them walk down the road,” said Bowman. “[The turnout for that] basically shows how much the fans appreciate them. During the game I went out on the field for warm-ups, and I talked to Coach Beamer on the field. I talked to Coach Foster and Coach Cavanaugh.”
