Jackson Commits to UVA

Make that two commitments in one night for the Cavaliers. According to sources, Virginia has received a commitment from 6-3, 200 pound wide receiver/safety Jamaal Jackson of Deep Creek High School (Chesapeake, VA).

Jackson possesses 4.5 40 speed to go along with his big frame. He’ll likely play safety at Virginia. He chose the Cavaliers over offers from Syracuse and Michigan State.

Jackson becomes the tenth verbal commitment for the 2004 class, which includes 2003 signees Philip Brown and James Terry. Brown attends Hargrave and Terry attends Fork Union. Both will sign with UVA in February of 2004.
