Feliciano Names Two Favorites

Getting in early on a recruit can be very important for a school. The loyalty factor often times can spring one team to the forefront of the recruiting race. These are things that mean a lot to Elizabeth (NJ) offensive line prospect Carlos Feliciano , and it is why Virginia and Maryland are the current two leaders for his services.

“Maryland and Virginia are my top two,” said Feliciano, who has received official offers from Virginia, Maryland, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Boston College, and Iowa. He is considering all of those schools as well. “They have been with me the longest and are recruiting me the hardest. Both of those schools were the first ones to send me information. That means something to me. I want to go to a school that really wants me.

“I’ve spoken with Al Golden and Al Groh of UVA a lot. I went on an unofficial visit down to UVA in September, and I liked it there. I’ve also been to Maryland. Most likely, I will officially visit both of these schools this fall. I am probably heading down to Maryland for the game against Virginia on November 13th.”

All of the schools Feliciano is considering have offered in writing. He is not seriously considering schools who have extended verbal offers.
