Roanoke’s (Robersonville, NC) Trimaine Goddard is one of the best athletes in the state of North Carolina. He is 5-11, 185 pounds, can run a 4.5 in the 40 and has the versatility to play a number of different positions in college.

While the potential is there to play running back, wide receiver, or even free safety in college, coaches are recruiting him to play the cornerback position. His strengths are perfectly suited to play such a position on the next level.

“His greatest asset is his agility,” said Roanoke head coach Donnie Kiefer. “He has the ability to change direction very quickly. He’s a very elusive player.”

Toughness is another adjective that can be used to describe Goddard’s game.
