The Roanoke Times is reporting Andrew Pearman has made a verbal commitment to the University of Virginia. He joins Chris Long and Cedric Peerman as the third verbal commitment of the 2004 recruiting class for the Hoos.

Pearman, a 5-9, 171-pound all-purpose back out of Providence High School in Charlotte, N.C., rushed for more than 1,600 yards as a junior and scored 31 touchdowns.

Pearman is the younger brother of current UVa tailback Alvin Pearman. Pearman has good moves and blazing speed (4.3 forty).

We are attempting to contact Pearman and will have his comments as soon as possible.
