Top Target: Clint Sintim

Gar-Field (Woodbridge, VA) defensive end Clint Sintim was not expecting the attention he has been receiving this spring. But once college coaches saw his 6-4, 250 pound frame, got a look at his speed (4.8 in the 40), and saw his technique, it was inevitable.

He has been able to adjust, however, and still keep himself humble while many schools flock after his services.

“My first letter was from Tennessee, and I was like ‘No way…is this for me?’”, said Sintim, who earned first-team all-Northwest region as a junior. “But then more letters came, coaches started coming by and then the offers started coming. It’s very nice. I never thought I would get the attention that I have been getting. Coach sent out the tape of me, and I guess people liked what they saw.”

Gar-field head coach Jim Poythress is very excited and not as surprised about the amount of schools interested in his star defensive player. After all, there is a whole lot to be impressed with Sintim simply by looking at him.
