Sales Attracting Major Offers

One of the top athletes in the state of Pennsylvania is attracting a whole lot of attention this spring. Tyrell Sales , the 6-5, 230 pound linebacker prospect from Butler High School in Butler, Pennsylvania, has received early offers from Florida State, Michigan, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Maryland, West Virginia, and Stanford.

According to Butler head coach Garry Cathell, Sales is the most sought after prospect he has ever coached.

“Tyrell is probably the heaviest recruited player I’ve ever had,” said Cathell. “He’s a great linebacker. He could also play as a down end. Florida State wants him as a rush defensive end. Coach Paterno even told us that he could play on offense, at tight end…that’s how athletically gifted he is.”

If Sales is anything, he is an outstanding athlete. He runs around a 4.5/4.6 in the 40, which is remarkable for someone his size. Even gaining 15 pounds of muscle since the end of his junior season has not slowed him down, as he has kept his speed in tact.
