One of the most talented – and certainly one of the biggest linemen in the state of Virginia is Stafford’s John Bradshaw .

Bradshaw, who has received offers from Virginia Tech, West Virginia, and Northwestern, is very quick off the ball as an offensive guard. His quickness enables him to successfully and consistently block defenders on pulls and traps. On defense, Bradshaw is a brawler who really lays a lick on opponents. Bradshaw, who is being recruited as an offensive lineman by college coaches, does not care which position he plays.

“It’s fun playing defense,” said Bradshaw. “Defense allows you just to play, while on offense, you have to think more. I don’t care which position I play though.”

By being one of the top line prospects in the state, there is little doubt Bradshaw’s recruitment could turn into one of those classic in-state battles between Virginia and Virginia Tech. The mammoth 6-5, 295 pound prospect is open at this point, and has visited a third “Virginia” more than any other.
