Virginia Tech was hoping to impress Bethel DE Chris Ellis on his official visit this past weekend.

According to Ellis, they did just that.

“It was nice,” said Ellis, who was hosted by best friend, former teammate, and current VT safety Jimmy Williams. “It was exactly what I needed – it was a very laid back trip. It ranks right up there as one of the best official visits.”

Ellis would not name a leader following the trip, however he said he probably will not take his previously scheduled visit to NC State this weekend.
