The second official visit for Bethel defensive end Chris Ellis was to the University of Virginia. This weekend was the “big weekend” for the Cavaliers, who covet the services of the state of Virginia’s top pass rusher.

“The visit went real well,” said Ellis. “I just finished with Coach Groh and Coach London about three hours ago. I watched film with Coach London and Coach Groh was busy speaking with my parents. I pretty much know what each school is offering, but my parents wanted to find out more.”

Ellis, who was literally hopping a plane to the University of Tennessee, still has no leader among UVa, Virginia Tech, Maryland, Tennessee, and NC State.

He visited Maryland last weekend, and was able to compare his first and second visits.
