Allen Billyk , an outstanding defensive end prospect from New Castle HS in New Castle, PA, took his first official visit this past weekend. The 6-4, 260 pound Billyk tripped to Charlottesville, where he took in the Virginia-Maryland game.

“I had a good time,” said Billyk. “I got to talk to the assistant Dean of the Business School, since I probably want to go into business. I went out to dinner a couple of times, so I got to see the nightlife. We went down earlier this summer, and it was a place I knew I wanted to go back and see.”

Billyk was hosted on Friday by junior OL Kevin Bailey and Saturday by freshman DE Braden Campbell, who hails from Pennsylvania as well. Pennsylvania native Danny Rocco is Billyk’s primary recruiter, and he and the talented defensive end have struck up a good relationship throughout this recruiting process.

“I have talked with Coach Rocco and Coach Groh a little bit,” said Billyk. “[Coach Rocco and I] have a close relationship. I feel more comfortable with the coaches [at Virginia] than I do with any other coach who has been recruiting me.”
