Hokies Knock Off Navy, Will Travel to Penn State for Third Round of WNIT

Virginia Tech women’s basketball defeated Navy on Sunday by a score of 75-64, pushing them into the Sweet 16 of the 2017 WNIT. 

The Hokies will travel to Penn State for their third round matchup on Thursday. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. Penn State moved on after defeated Fordham 70-51. Penn State went 9-7 in their Big Ten conference slate and is 16-1 at home this season. 

A full recap of Virginia Tech’s win over Navy will be posted later on Sunday.

      1. Unfortunately, PSU has only lost one at home & we play in their house. It is gonna take a lot of hustle from our girls to pull this out but they should have fresh legs.
