The final official visit for Class of 2018 offensive lineman Jordan McFadden is now complete. McFadden, a senior at Dorman High School in Roebuck, S.C., has been committed to Virginia Tech since July, but a month later, opened the door to Clemson, which gave him a scholarship offer.

McFadden, rated as a 3-star prospect by both Rivals and 247Sports, has held to his original decision. He told TechSideline.com last month that he would take official visits to both schools, then make a decision. This past weekend marked the last of those two official visits. A final decision is now imminent, as McFadden weighs the pros and cons with both of his final options.

McFadden officially visited Clemson this past weekend for their win over The Citadel. In many ways, it was a confirmation of why he considers them such an attractive possibility.

“It was really fun and I had a great time,” McFadden said. “I really enjoyed myself. I liked hanging around the committed guys, the other players who were there and current players and coaches. It was just pretty fun.”
