Malcolm Delaney , a 6-3, 170-pound shooting guard out of Towson Catholic (Baltimore, MD) will be on the Virginia Tech campus this weekend on an official visit. Delaney is rated a four-star prospect by Rivals.com and a three-star recruit by Scout.com.

According to Towson Catholic head coach Josh Pratt, Delaney could make a decision in the near future.

“He’s planning on making a decision soon,” Pratt said. “Besides Virginia Tech, other schools that are interested are Indiana, Kansas State, Iowa State and Maryland. Those are the schools that have called me.”

As a junior last season, Delaney averaged 19 points and four assists per game. He seems like a natural two-guard who can run the point when necessary.
