Tony Morrison

Notes: Tony Morrison was a 3-year letterman and a 1-year starter. He played as a true freshman in 1994 and started in 1996. He was a versatile player who could play both inside linebacker positions. He was dismissed from the team in March of 1997. He had been involved in the famous Christy Brzonkala rape case in 1995, and been charged with drunk and disorderly conduct and destruction of property in downtown Blacksburg. Given a third chance, he missed curfew and was suspended late in the 1996 season.

Morrison was the #4 player in the state by The Roanoke Times. He chose the Hokies over Virginia, and he also considered Michigan State and Maryland. He was the highest rated defensive player to sign with Tech in 1994.
