Notes:
Hill was a 4-year letterman for the Hokies. He had an outstanding career in Blacksburg, recording 342 career tackles, 22 tackles for loss and 17 sacks. His 177 tackles in 1987 tied a school record for most tackles in a season, and amazing statistic for a defensive tackle. Hill was one of the best defensive linemen to ever play at Tech, and these numbers prove that, but he never receives the credit he deserves.
Hill was a 3-star recruit and rated the #135 player in the country by Terranova. He was a member of the Super Prep Elite 100 team and rated the 14th best lineman in the nation. He was a Roanoke Times Top 5 player. Bob Gibbons rated him among the 16 best linemen in the nation. The Poop Sheet ranked him 12th in the state of Virginia.
