- Wide Receiver
- Class of 1990
- Baltimore, MD (Poly)
- 6-2, 180 lbs
- Status: VT Signee
Notes:
Antonio Freeman was a 4-year letterman and a 3-year starter. He is arguably the best wide receiver in Virginia Tech history. His 121 career receptions is second all time at Virginia Tech. He went on to win a Super Bowl with the Green Bay Packers and was an All-Pro NFL receiver.
Freeman chose Tech over JMU and Rutgers. It is surprising that he didn't get more recruiting attention, considering he was ranked the #64 player in the Mid-Atlantic by Super Prep. Doug Doughty considered Freeman Tech's 4th best signee.
