  1. I drive a Chevy but my favorite O player is Ford. He is so smooth and skilled and he seems to be a great kid!

  2. For me it’s gotta be Coleman. Even when things didn’t go his way he continued to work hard and did what was best for the team. Never complained. He’s also been a great player/recruiter for the Hokies. Always positive. He also gives a great deal of himself off the field with volunteer work and being involved in kids programs. He also helped save our bacon last season with some great rushing games when we were on the ropes. Classy guy all the way around.

  3. I went Teller but it was a close call for m between Teller and Rogers!! Both are old style football and game changers.

  4. Somehow I voted before opening this article (happens all the time somehow) but for me it goes:
    1) Teller – Just what an OL and VT player should be
    2) Ford – Kind of respectful / skillfull kid you want your son to be like
    3) Hodges – He’s a player and riles the other team up.

    1. Try clearing your TSL cookie and/or clearing your cache and see if that allows you to vote.

  5. Even though he won’t win this poll, I had to go with JC. After getting knocked down to the bottom of the depth chart then exploding in the bowl game after all the injuries in front of him showed me the true character he has.

  6. I went with Brewer just because of the beating he took last and kept getting up. What a gamer!

    1. +1. Brewer is a warrior. After the beatings he took against OSU and UVA last year, and continued to play…amazing. How can you not respect that?

I expect he will have a great season this fall.

      1. Same here. I’d definitely go with JCC, SR, WT and BH as the top 5. But got to give the top spot to Brewer for the OSU performance followed by the injuries all around him and then gutting out his own injuries, etc.

      2. +1 From me as well. That guy took a beating nearly every game. He isn’t a big guy, 5’11” maybe 200lbs, and he wouldn’t quit. That kind of moxie to get up, knowing in the next 2-3 plays your going to get your lunch handed to you again, is what does it for me. JCC is two, because when you go to 3/4 on the depth chart as an upper classman, but don’t complain then get it done like he did when we needed it. That is a classy kid, who deserves his scholarship and respect.
