2015 ACC Football Preseason Predictions: Virginia Tech Picked Second in the Coastal

Virginia Tech has been picked to finish second in the Coastal Division this season, and seven media members believe the Hokies will win the ACC.

As expected, VT and Georgia Tech received the vast majority of votes in the Coastal Division.  However, six of the seven teams got at least three first place votes, with UVA being the lone exception.  This year marks the first time that any team other than Virginia Tech or Miami has been picked to win the Coastal Division.

Clemson and Florida State were the overwhelming picks in the Atlantic Division, with the Tigers coming out on top.

  1. So, someone within the media voting doesn’t understand how this whole championshp game works still… 1 person picked NC State to win the ACC but didn’t pick them to win their own division.
