Courtland LB Victor Greene Commits To Virginia Tech

Courtland (Spotsylvania, VA) junior linebacker Victor Greene has verbally committed to Virginia Tech, Fredericksburg Free-Lance Star reporter Nathan Warters tweeted this afternoon.

Greene, who is listed at 6’0″, 205 pounds, plays running back and linebacker for Courtland. He reportedly is being recruited by Tech as a linebacker, where he amassed 52 tackles and had three interceptions this past season. On offense he rushed for over 1,000 yards in 2014.

Virginia Tech now has eight verbal commitments in the class of 2016. Greene is the first linebacker commit in the class. Tech has five defensive commitments in total so far, including Greene, safety Reggie Floyd, and cornerbacks Kareem Felder, Troy Pride Jr. and Myles Wolfolk.

TSL will have more on this latest development soon. In the meantime, check out highlights of the newest Hokie below.

  1. We may have won the “sweep” stakes baby! Seriously, video was 8 minutes of sweeps, plus a little defense

    1. seriously, they certainly do play to their strengths of the sweep. He may be able to even play deeper in the backfield with that closing speed and potential 215-220 size – Cam

    1. AND if all of our running backs get busted up he is a trainwreck waiting to happen
