  1. Interesting that Corey remembered, and was impressed, with that Boise State game where Tech wore those very cool (and now copied by many teams) black unis. Note the very colorful Louisville-Miami game on Monday. Hope Tech will come up with something special again. But PLEASE … no more goofy gobbler helmets!!! Stick with the maroon helmets with the simple VT logo.

  2. Wow Corey Marshall is really well spoken. I was particularly impressed with how he viewed this as an opportunity to bring in the next wave of recruits. It’s nice to see the players thinking about what’s best for the program as a whole. Glad to have him as a Hokie!

    1. Agreed. I love his quiet confidence and we have other players cut out of the same cloth. I liked Marshawn’s comments as well. It would be nice to see some of the coaches spend a bit less time building up the other team, talking about all of the challenges we face and rather focus on the Hokies strapping it up and bringing all we have to Columbus. A little swagger, a lot of confidence, win or lose. Always class. I am sure the message to the players is different. We haven’t won a ton of these national, underdog games so I may be a little tainted with my opinion.
