  1. give me a break with dissing VT interviews and pretending to know what VA recruits think as if these interviews would make them want to go elsewhere. No true Hokie would write that last sentence you posted and anytime I see that stuff it just tells me you’re a hoo

  2. I agree with hjdHokie. This interview environment makes it very hard to hear (and annoying). I don’t have bad hearing, but it seems like a big time program should be able to manage these interviews in a more professional way. It is not surprising that so many Virginia recruits do not see VT as a big time program.

  3. I will be the first to admit that my hearing ain’t what it used to be, but if they are going to have these interviews then they should set them up for the max benefit. When several guys are talking at the same time in the same room, and with the universal mikes that the media use, which pick up sound from all directions, it sounds like the Tower of Babel and makes it very difficult to understand anyone! Just using simple canvas screens to block off each booth on the sides would help a lot. Please make it a little easier for us geezers to understand all the pearls of wisdom that these good guys are dropping on us. THANKS!
