2 things to ask...(Navy, new VT AD)

    First question:
Do you think the school to replace Maryland could be Navy (just thinking oustiside of the UConn/Louisville box)?

    Second question:
Do you think if Weaver steps down soon that wherever the new VT AD comes from could influence if we try to leave the ACC or not? For instance, if we get an AD that has his roots in the SEC, would you see him push to get in the SEC?

    I don't think ACC would Navy...IMO

He might push for it, but not sure how much influence an AD has in this equation.

Navy would only ever be invited for football only, as a surrogate for ND football. And with the ACC's history of wanting to avoid partial members, I don't think it's likely.

I asked about Navy since maybe it would satisfy ND and maybe push them to help join the conference fully down the road with perhaps UConn...

The new AD can always go the Maryland way; run the athletic department into the ground then claim we need SEC money to run a fiscally sound athletic program.
