Greensboro is a dump. I will NEVER go back there. Absolutely nothing to do near the stadium. DC and Charlotte should rotate.

Epic fail...Verizon Center is in Penn Quarter/Chinatown district of DC. Lots of cools bars and restaurants and very safe.
ok, sounds like you and I look for different things when going to the tourney. 11 games in 4 days leaves me with enough time to find a decent restaurant, recharge for the next day's games and that's about it.
I have no issues with CLT. Yes, there's lots to do in DC, but for me those things to do are not worth the extra money and those extras are not why I go to a college hoops tourney. to each his own -- Go Hokies
Ultimately with the newly expanded ACC the answer is going to be rotating venues with a lot less of Greensboro then has been historically the case. Assuming MSG is doable (given the BigEast) how about a eleven year rotation looking like this: MSG 3, DC2, Greensboro 2, Atlanta 2, Charlotte 2?
