Hypothetically, of course, let's assume that last September you had the power to choose one of two membership scenarios for the ACC.
Option #1 - Add Pitt and Syracuse and become a 14-member conference. Assign to divisions as announced (i.e., Pitt to Coastal), go to a 9-game regular season and otherwise proceed as the ACC actually did.
Option #2 - Drop Boston College and Miami and become a 10-member conference. Eliminate divisions and conference championship game. Go to a 9-game, round robin regular season (meaning annual games with Florida State, Clemson, NC State, Maryland and Wake Forest in addition to annual games with UVa, UNC, Georgia Tech and Duke).
