    Really, for the most part, the assembled media did a terrible job of asking questions. There were about 3 good questions, and the rest were of the "how does it feel" and "talk about your mentors/influences" type of questions. Combine that with about 6 bald-faced attempts to get Weaver and Johnson to say bad things about Seth, and it was one of the worst press conferences I have ever seen. Very little actual information came out of it.

    It's a five year contract. Weaver did not mention any increases. It's quite possible that it is a straight line contract while Greenberg's buyout occurs.

    Yep. I'm rooting for the need to renegotiate in a year or two based on JJ's success.

    If he does well, and deserves more, it'll be renegotiated and increase - or he'd leave. Simple as that.

    If he performs, that paycheck needs to increase significantly. Hopefully there are a bunch of incentives to bump it next season, especially if we make the NCAAT!

    clemson was going to pay him $190k...that's what i meant by that part of my comment
