I don't always talk to UVa Grads but when I do I always order the Large Fries.
By the way, I listened to the entire, painful, news conference. I know exactly what he said. He said 1) he and Mr. Gabbard had already decided next year they were not going to extend Seth's contract, 2) Seth was absent from the department wide meeting, 3) since there was zero staff, they decided to move up the firing since they wouldn't have to pay 2different staffs for two or 3 months next year.
They certainly are saving some money right now since there is only one person on the MBB staff right now.
But what I'm getting at is how you and several others keep dropping innuendos about all of the dastardly things Seth did that justified his ouster. But then shut up about all of these dastardly things, because you don't want to kick Seth under the bus by airing dirty laundry in public.
You and others just keep repeating the mantra, if only you unwashed, unknowing masses only know what we all knowing types knew, you would understand.
Personally, from a professional basis only, which is what I can see happening on the court, in the won-lost column, etc., I had come to believe that Seth had reached his peak at Tech, that we had plateaued, and would not go any higher under him. Therefore it was probably time to make a change.
What I don't like is the apparently unjustified assualt on Seth's character. And I consider it unjustified until someone with some air of neutrality gives me reasons to doubt Seth's character.
And by character I don't mean being a prickly SOB to work for or be around. Vince Lombardi and Bob Knight would fit that category as well.
