ACC Quarterfinals Episode
(The Duke team has just left the Boardroom, having won the task.)
Trump: "Hokies, you know the deal. And I don't mean my book 'Art Of The Deal,' which you might be still able to find at Amazon.com. You lost the task. One of you will be fired."
Trump: "Coach Greenberg - Why do you think your team lost?"
Greenberg: "Well, Mr. Trump, I thought we played hard, and we did not get embarrassed."
Trump: "Great. But you lost. Why?"
Greenberg: "We have a really young team, talented, but not experienced enough."
Trump: "Really. Sounds like an excuse to me."
Erick Green: "Mr. Trump, can I say something?
Trump: "Yes Erick, go ahead."
Erick Green: "It was so unfair, every time we missed a shot, and had a chance for the rebound, this tall tree got in the way."
Erick Green: "Yes, a big tree, that could move! It was SO unfair, man!"
Trump: "I think you are referring to Mason Plumlee?"
Erick Green: "Yeah, that's the kind of tree man, like, he wasn't human, man he is SO tall!"
Trump: "See that hole in the ceiling?"
Erick Green: <looking up> "Yeah man, what caused that?"
Trump: "That happened two minutes ago, when the Duke players left the Boardroom, and Mason got out of his seat, and stood up. He is HUGE!"
Greenberg: "Mr. Trump, we lost due to somebody who made no contribution at all. I am not taking the rap for this!"
Trump: "Who would that be?"
Greenberg: "A certain player in this room, Mr..... Wal Kon."
Wal Kon: "What!? Coach, I am a WALK ON! I played only 5 minutes all year, TOTAL, in two blowout games!"
Greenberg: "You're deadwood, you've done nothing but complain since you got here! How did you ever get a scholarship?"
Wal Kon: "Are you deaf, AND dumb? I AM A WALK ON. I don't HAVE a SCHOLARSHIP!"
Greenberg: "And you're not getting one, as long as I am here! Mr. Trump, I think you should fire Wal Kon!"
Trump: "Are you serious, Greenberg? Throwing a walk on player, under the bus? Pretty low, even for you, isn't it?"
Greenberg: "Mr. Trump, do you know how many No. 1 teams my squads have defeated, over the years?"
Trump: "Yes, I do. I also know how many times, the next game, those teams went into the tank, and lost to teams that middle school teams could beat!"
Ggreenberg: "A mere coincidence."
Trump: "Greenberg, I don't think so. You are inconsistent, over-emotional, and you just tried to blame a walk on player for this loss, EVEN THOUGH YOU NEVER LET HIM IN THE GAME!"
Greenberg: "He never stepped up to the plate. He needs to show initiative."
Trump: "Greenberg.... You're fired!"
