    Special Olympics and Hokies

Spent much of the day at Cassell today at the Special Olympics basketball tournament. Seth and the team were there supporting the athletes, along with women's soccer, cheerleaders, high techs, Burnop and Bruce Taylor. Very classy group of Hokies. Special kudos to Robert Brown, he was there all day, coaching many teams and supporting every athlete as if he had been their friend his whole life.

Good stuff. Very nice to hear especially after a tough loss.

Yep. They were there last year. Very good of them to show up and support the Special Olympics. I remember Debnam having a good time with the kids last year.

I second that on Robert Brown. He was there for the ENTIRE tournament until in concluded at 5 (started at about 9). This was also when there were only about one or two games left and pretty much everybody had headed home. Rob was still sitting on the bench with one of the teams chatting it up with the players and having a good time until the very end. It was definitely very impressive and good to see!

    How bout them Hokies!
