I have no issue with what Wiles said to him due to how recently the recruit had said he was committed. If had not just been a few days prior. I honestly do not care where the kid decided to go. Over the years it seems that 90% of the recruits that back out never pan out at the new school. Maybe it just shows these type of people are not committed too hard work. They are more of instant gratification types. We have plenty of other LB's in this class and they can't all play so we will find out if he breaks the mold and make sit big or if he is like the other 90%. I think VT is better to know now than have him transfer in a year.
To me they're separate issues. I agree on what happens to most who flip. I just don't think Wiles handled himself very good. No adult needs to talk to a kid like that....in my mind anyway. If I saw an adult talk to my kid like that, we'd have to have a little chat.
