His reason for picking Alabama is they offer a better path to the NFL. Might be true, on the other hand.. if you're good enough.. playing at VT.. or any other major conference school will get you there too. Either way, good luck in Alabama. I hope after today the subject dies.

American Football players that stroll The Grounds are like present day versions of Paul Robeson. They are complete men of both letters and athletic ability. Frankly, I am surprised that we are as competitive as we are against our much less academically vigorous competition.
