My prediction, he will go to Alabama, sit the bench until his junior season, get frustrated with having to play DE and drop out, and move back to Lynchburg, sit out a year, and end up at Liberty University or some other FCS school. Good luck at Alabama Mr. Kirven!

I'm not sure he'd play as a freshman...hes not going to beat out Roberts, Davis, and Coles, I don't think...and we have a couple other young bucks in the mix. We'll see I suppose....

Or wind up starting by his junior year at DE and develop into a 1st round draft pick.

Where will this class rank against the rest of the country for 2012?

I LOVE IT when a player is listed as "WR/ATH".....makes him sound badass (tho' I'd prefer "WR-ATH"

His reason for picking Alabama is they offer a better path to the NFL. Might be true, on the other hand.. if you're good enough.. playing at VT.. or any other major conference school will get you there too. Either way, good luck in Alabama. I hope after today the subject dies.

Gobblers, just remember the The University cannot accept all of these Commonwealth recruits with our rigorous academic requirements. All of our players are complete Renaissance Men with varied interests and aptitudes.
American Football players that stroll The Grounds are like present day versions of Paul Robeson. They are complete men of both letters and athletic ability. Frankly, I am surprised that we are as competitive as we are against our much less academically vigorous competition.
