Thought there was a fair amount of bad blood when he split on them last time. Now they're thrilled to have him back? After the serial professional (and personal) dalliances?
What am I missing?
At least U of L has a better understanding of what they're getting with Petrino his 2nd time in town. He's a good football coach. I guess he'll do well if he behaves, tries to stay put for the duration of his contract, and wins games that eventually has fans forgetting about him leaving for Atlanta in 2006.
I'm sure many Louisville fans have egg on their face after criticizing and making fun of Petrino for the past 7 years or so. This picture of Petrino on a motorcycle with WKU's mascot "Big Red" was recently on one of their football forums during the football season. How things can change.
