How does this guy look compared to say, Ben Boggs in high school?
I'd say Boggs had the look of a bigger D 1 prospect due to being 6'4" with a bigger frame and verical (Boggs could get up and dunk easily in HS) Tanner's smaller but a better pure shooter and scorer. Tanner plays in a HS system sort if like VMI's run and gun, pressing style, Boggs played a slow paced 1/2 style at Hidden Valley. Boggs lost lots of his Athleticism after his severe leg break Sr yr of HS though. He never got back some of the explosion that made him a higher level recruit.
