Do we have a Trevor Knight?

Does anyone out there think we have a Trevor Knight coming in for this next year? He looked fanatastic last night. He had a lot of dump passes but he could throw the ball on a rope down the field.

From what I heard, Oklahoma didn't even know they had THAT Trevor Knight. Guy had the game of his life. Nobody knows where that guy came from and nobody is sure if they'll ever see that guy again. Maybe the light bulb went off, he turned the corner, the game slowed down for him. One thing that did help him, was the intensity of Oklahoma - that team looked like they wanted the game more.

No, but we do have Andrew Ford and Chris Durkin...a couple years of patience may be required (God help this board) but Ford has that ability and Durkin is Tebow-esque in his running ability

Considering Knight was the fifth ranked QB coming out of high school two years ago, I would say, no, we do not have anyone like him......

Now with Ford and Durkin coming, who knows I guess......start praying......

Thank god...a voice of reason in a sea of insanity.

Neither Ford or Durkin is going to be an immediate help. If one (or both somehow) becomes a "solid" starter by their r-Fr year, VT fans should consider it a raging success. Anything beyond than that would be gravy.

Unfortunately, Patience is not a strength of Hokie Nation.

Our best QB next year will be whoever wins the backup job.

Agreed. Maybe Durkin if we use him like a battering ram a la LT...

We might not have a choice. I don't see the OL being able to support a real passing QB next year.
