Depends on whether JJ continues to recruit well and if team competes.
Many more blow-outs like VCU and JJ is gone.

Agree. I don't think a new AD will come in and on the first month (march?) on the job, fire the basketball coach without major off the court problems.
The hiring timing will buy JJ one more do or die year.

He's also safe if it takes as long to get a new AD on board as it did for Weaver's timing to fire Greenberg, which as we all have observed firsthand, is too deep into the year to make a coaching change.
BCS level college football is a resource war, not a morality play.

too bad no one knows which bunch of junk you're referring to.

I see us with 5-7 wins in the ACC this year. If we stay put or regress next year then he gone.

No trees were harmed in the making of this post. However, billions of electrons were horribly inconvenienced.

I just think there are too many collateral issues going on right now to truly evaluate his ability.

The good thing about being a lower level ACC program is that you have the ability to let things play out a little bit longer. I mean what's the harm really? It's sad but true.
Still think JJ's got 3-4 more years?

Yep. Sure do. If he "loses" the locker room or coaches start peacing out, then anything goes with the new AD.
