    Cool Final women's soccer rankings: Hokies at #4

    1 UCLA (32) 800 22-1-3 2
    2 Florida State 765 23-2-3 3
    3 Virginia 739 24-1-1 1
    4 Virginia Tech 702 19-5-3 4
    5 North Carolina 672 20-5-0 5

    On the way to the final 4, the Hokies defeated #7 Santa Clara, #12 West Virginia, and #18 Duke.

    They certainly earned their way there.

    Just to quibble though, UNC beat VT, I was wondering if they would jump us, I suppose being the only team to thrash UVA balances that out. On the other hand, why wouldn't UVA beat out FSU? sure FSU got to the title game, but not through the Hoos, you could make a case for UVA being #2.

    Enough quibbling, VT is in the books as the #4 team in the nation this year, Good job.

    Another note ACC has 4 of top 5 and 8 of top 25 teams, impressive.
