    A fun "what if"

What if the SEC had taken FSU instead instead of Mizzou? Would they have still gone unbeaten this year? If you think FSU is a better team than Mizzou, then the answer is yes. They would not have lost to South Carolina at home. So you would have had #1 FSU vs #3 Auburn in the SECCG. And assuming Ohio State still loses, that means the winner of the SECCG would be facing (drum roll) Alabama in the MNC game. Hmm, maybe not such a fun "what-if" after all. And that doesn't even consider what would have become of the ACC if FSU had left (it wouldn't have been pretty).

Maybe Mizzou would've just been undefeated in the Big 12 and it would've been FSU/Auburn winner vs. Mizzou.
